At just 15mm, the new Cybershot T700 & T77 are SUPER slim, making them the perfect camera to carry around with you just about everywhere you go! They are both 10.1 Megapixels with 4x optical zoom and a beautiful 3 inch touch screen!

I look forward to taking a look at them when they come out and all in all, they look set to be a fantastic piece of kit!

When I came across the AeroGarden I was quite impressed, its crazy actually, you plug it in, plant a “pod” and then it electronically controls the light and how much water is fed to the plants, all you have to do is top it up with water when it asks you too. It allegedly can make plants grow 3 times quicker!

I’ll be honest though, I am having trouble making my mind up about this gadget, I mean, yes its cool, and yes it solves a problem, but, its VERY lazy, and with a price tag of £119, you could instead keep yourself in stock of fresh supermarket herbs for a very long time!

It is worth saying that you can also buy tomato, salad leaf, and chilli pepper seed kits (which are all £15 a pop!), but I really don’t think that you are going to get a BUMPER crop in this small space!

I like the idea behind this, but, its definitely not for me!

Not the craziest invention in the world, but being a guy who sits with his laptop a lot, I like this. Its perfect for when you are sitting on the sofa, or just lying in bed on your laptop, and you want to be comfortable and avoid getting burned by the bottom of your laptop! It also has a cool little “pouch” in the middle, which you can put whatever you like in, maybe your laptop charger, your USB mouse, mobile phone, the possibilities are endless!

I reckon that the Belkin CushTop is a pretty cool thing, and although not amazingly clever, is a simple solution to a problem, and as for Belkin, in my experience their laptop accessories are great.

But thanks to Fujifilm, I feel comforted and excited!

Whilst I was checking the blog of a friend of mine (who has a very similar passion to me for photography & stationary, especially moleskine journals and notebooks!) I found a post about a certain toy that he had recently bought. It is the Fujifilm Pivi MP-300, a portable digital photo printer which, like Polaroid cameras, takes cartridges of film, and makes instant credit-card size prints.

The printer uses a technology called PictBridge which allows you to print photos directly from your digital camera, without the need for a computer in the middle! The printer either connects via USB or infra-red. Most digital cameras have PictBridge, and a quick search of your camera model specs on Google will answer that if it is a question in your mind.

I love having physical prints of photos, and with the dieing out of many analogue photography techniques, I think that this printer looks fantastic. It is battery operated and fits in the palm of your hand, perfect for just putting in your bag along with your digital camera, ready to print the photo of your choice within minutes, and of course, unlike Polaroid, you can preview your picture first before you print! No more wasting film on disaster photos!

I think that this printer is super cool! The only downside is that currently they are only available in Japan, but, all is not lost, I have already found someone selling them on eBay, who will happily send it to me in the UK! I have read nothing but good things about this printer, and at around £79, I can’t wait to receive mine!
